On 24 December 2021, Warrior Atharv visited the War Memorial.

Atharv Tiwari is a nine year old boy, who is suffering from cancer. He has already lost part of one leg to the disease.

However, he does not give up and is fighting the disease with determination and a cheery resolve.

He is especially fond of the armed forces and gains strengh from interacting with military men and women. His parents, both doctors, have put their lives on hold and have dedicated themselves to ensuring he visits all the important military institutions and memorials that he desires to. They, along with him, and his little sister, have driven around the country, including visiting Ladakh and the Rezangla Memorial.

We were privileged to host Warrior Atharv at the HP State War Memorial, Dharamsala, and do our bit to motivate him even further and give him the strength to defeat the disease like a true soldier.
